Leading motorsports marketing communications firm expands with appointment of Louise Rafn as INDYCAR Communication and Social Media Manager
Indianapolis, Ind. (26 February 2025) – Sunday Group Management (SGM), a leading motorsports marketing communications agency based in Indianapolis, is pleased to announce that Louise Rafn has joined the firm as Communications and Social Media Manager. Rafn will be a key asset in supporting Meyer Shank Racing for Sunday Group as it continues its growth and broadens its ability to deliver for clients.
With multiple championships and victories in some of the biggest events in motorsport, Meyer Shank Racing has established itself as a competitive force in a range of championship categories. The team currently fields a two-car program in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in parallel with a full-season two-car effort in INDYCAR, with the team also set to field a third entry for the Indianapolis 500.
In her new role, Rafn will be responsible for managing and executing communications strategies for the Meyer Shank Racing INDYCAR team, its drivers, and partners as well as focusing on Meyer Shank Racing social media platforms. Rafn will track and report on digital marketing metrics and ROI for the team and its sponsors.
Reporting directly to Maddie Komar, Senior Account Manager, Communication & Partnerships, Rafn brings valuable experience to the team. Prior to joining Sunday Group Management, Rafn worked at Red Bull as a Motorsports Specialist, supporting the Formula 1 program as well as having an extensive management role with the the Red Bull Junior Team, where she led daily operations and was responsible for managing branding activities, executing global motorsports activations, and providing strategic support to local Red Bull markets.
