16 May 2025—The 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list has been released (link to entry list ), and the iconic race is set to once again have a strong presence of American drivers and teams for the 93th running of the huge endurance event in June.
The event marks round four of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, which will see the series return to North America for the Lone Star Le Mans on September 7.
The build up to the race will kick off with the Test Day on June 8, with the race weekend getting underway with the traditional Wednesday night session on June 11.
Four of the drivers are regular competitors in the WEC LMGT3 championship, with Texan Ben Keating leading the standings after winning the season-opener, as fellow American racer Ryan Hardwick is fourth in the championship standings ahead of Le Mans, having picked up the round 2 victory in Italy.
USA driver Ian James enters the event from 8th in the WEC standings and fellow American Aston Martin driver Derek Deboer has continued to grow his points tally in his rookie season of FIA WEC competition.
In addition to the American regular drivers as well as brands including Ford, Cadillac, and Corvette, Le Mans has attracted a Star-spangled roster of champions to the June event, with drivers like Pietro Fittipaldi, Colin Braun, Dane Cameron as well as both Jordan and Ricky Taylor joining the field with the goal of writing a new chapter of success for the red, white, and blue at the incredible race.
“From an American driver’s perspective, there’s no better way to go there as competing with Cadillac,” said Jordan Taylor, who will race for his father Wayne for the first time in the event. “So, for us, it’s super special to be there representing our country and the brand. When they raised the flag and play the anthem at the end of the race there, it’s a very special. It’s something every driver would dream of.”
The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) has once again partnered with MAX to broadcast the 2025 season in North America, with fans also able to catch the event as well as extensive timing and scoring and multiple on-board cameras via the WEC TV app.
