(11 May 2019) \u2013 After starting from third and fighting through 85 laps of changing and challenging track conditions at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Meyer Shank Racing with Arrow SPM driver Jack Harvey finished third in the INDYCAR Grand Prix driving the No. 60 <a href=\"http:\/\/autonation.com\">AutoNation<\/a> \/ SiriusXM Honda on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The podium result is the best NTT IndyCar finish to date for the MSR effort, which expanded from a six-race 2018 program to a ten-race IndyCar schedule for 2019 with partners AutoNation and SiriusXM.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Harvey powered to his career-best result in what was also his first-ever wet race in IndyCar competition. \u00a0The event was a strong demonstration of the rapid progress that the Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) organization has made in its second season of IndyCar competition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The race marked the first-ever IndyCar appearance for Harvey on the infield road circuit, and was also the debut appearance for the team in the event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have believed in this team since my first 500 with them,\u201d said Harvey. \u201cI knew this type of weekend could happen eventually and everyone at Meyer Shank Racing worked so hard to give it to us. It wasn\u2019t an easy race but we put on a great show for everyone. It\u2019s my first podium in IndyCar and I can\u2019t wait to keep this momentum going for the 500. You can see how happy these guys are about getting a podium, imagine how happy they will be when we finally get a win!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The podium finish exceeded the expectations of Mike Shank, but displays the work put in so far this season to bring home competitive results.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am incredibly proud of Jack, the crew, and engineering, it was a great group effort!\u201d said Shank. \u201cThey did a hell of a job calling the race with the AutoNation \/ SiriusXM car. It was tough out there but Jack did an awesome job, and in the dry we might have done a little bit better. \u00a0It was a great day to show our advancing experience levels and how we handle situations like this. I am really pleased!
