Greensboro, N.C. (1 September 2017) \u2013 After nearly 23,000 laps of IMSA and GRAND-AM GT class battle and over 7,000 laps of Continental Tire Challenge competition, Stevenson Motorsports will cease racing operations following the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road America on October 7.<\/p>\n

\nThe North Carolina-based team has competed in IMSA competition for 15 years \u2013 participating in both the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge with a variety of different manufacturer platforms.<\/p>\n

Since debuting in the IMSA ranks in 2003, Stevenson Motorsports has made over 270 race starts with 25 pole positions, 33 victories, and 75 podium results. The squad claimed the North American Endurance Cup Championship title in 2013 and won the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge championship.<\/p>\n

Stevenson Motorsports most recently campaigned the No. 57 Audi R8 LMS in IMSA WeatherTech competition and the No. 57 Camaro GT4.R in IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge competition this year. Audi drivers Andrew Davis and Lawson Aschenbach drove to victory earlier this season at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.<\/p>\n

Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GT4.R drivers Robin Liddell and Matt Bell took two victories at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Lime Rock Park. The pair finished runner-up in last weekend\u2019s IMSA event at VIRginia International Raceway.<\/p>\n

\"\"Currently fourth in the IMSA WeatherTech GTD Class standings,\u00a0 Stevenson is set to contest the Continental Tire Showcase at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as the team looks to bring a strong close of the season for the team and its fans.<\/p>\n
