LAKEVILLE, CONN. (2 January 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Last month, Lime Rock Park showcased its commitment to advancing opportunities for women in motorsports by participating in the Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) Women with Drive Summit IV in Indianapolis. As an official WIMNA Regional Hub, Lime Rock Park proudly supported the summit and its initiatives aimed at fostering inclusion and opportunity for women and girls across the motorsports industry.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the week for The Park was the recognition of Emily Riess, Lime Rock Park\u2019s Director of Events & Experience, who received a prestigious SHEro Award nomination during the Summit. This honor celebrated top female performers in the motorsports industry, recognizing individuals whose contributions propel the sport forward. Riess was among 23 nominees from across the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cLime Rock Park is very proud of Emily Riess for receiving a SHEro award at the Women in Motorsports North America Summit,\u201d said Dicky Riegel, Lime Rock Park CEO & President. \u201cEmily exemplifies leadership and innovation, and her efforts inspire both our team and the industry as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riegel himself closed out the summit as part of a compelling panel discussion titled \u201cGo Fast, Go Alone. Go Far, Go Together,\u201d presented by PRI. Addressing a sold-out audience of motorsports professionals, Riegel emphasized the importance of collaboration, team success and building lasting greatness through unity.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing recognized among such an inspiring group of women in motorsports is truly an honor,\u201d said Riess. \u201cThe Women with Drive Summit highlights the progress we\u2019re making as an industry toward greater inclusion and opportunity. I\u2019m proud to be part of an organization like Lime Rock Park that actively supports and champions women at every level of motorsports. I left the Summit feeling even more inspired and motivated going into our 2025 season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beyond the summit, Lime Rock Park turned its attention to the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, meeting with the majority of its industry partners including those partners sanctioning the expanded 2025 public event calendar.\u00a0 Among the PRI events, the Park was proud to support its partner GRIDLIFE during its \u201cState of the Grid\u201d presentation.<\/p>\n

In its fourth year, GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends will also feature fan-favorites like GRIDLIFE Touring Cup, RushSR Series, Track Battle Time Attack, GRIDLIFE Drift, the PRIME Concours, the GRIDLIFE Arcade and Campground Karaoke.<\/p>\n

From fostering gender equity in motorsports to delivering innovative event experiences, Lime Rock Park continues to drive progress and create opportunities within the motorsports community.<\/p>\n
