{"id":8161,"date":"2025-05-13T10:52:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T14:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/?p=8161"},"modified":"2025-05-14T10:58:32","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T14:58:32","slug":"full-entry-list-published-for-93rd-24-hours-of-le-mans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/13\/full-entry-list-published-for-93rd-24-hours-of-le-mans\/","title":{"rendered":"FULL ENTRY LIST PUBLISHED FOR 93RD 24 HOURS OF LE MANS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>13 May 2025\u2014The full entry list for next month\u2019s 24 Hours of Le Mans (14-15 June) \u2013 the 93rd edition of the twice-round-the-clock marathon \u2013 has been published, featuring no fewer than 17 outright winners and 40 more drivers who have previously triumphed in-class.<\/p>\n<p>The legendary La Sarthe contest \u2013 renowned as one of the toughest challenges in the sport \u2013 will mark round four of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign, offering double points to the top ten-finishing full-time competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 1923, Le Mans has relentlessly tested the limits of human and mechanical endurance \u2013 demanding teamwork, resilience and unflinching commitment both day and night in often unpredictable conditions. Its iconic and unforgiving 13.6km circuit is the ultimate proving-ground, where nothing can be taken for granted and only the strongest prevail.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the 18 regular Hypercar protagonists, the headlining category will feature an extra Porsche Penske Motorsport 963, piloted by current IMSA championship leaders Nick Tandy and Felipe Nasr \u2013 the former the only driver to have completed the \u2018Grand Slam\u2019 of overall victories in all four major 24-hour races at Le Mans, Daytona, the N\u00fcrburgring and Spa \u2013 as well as reigning Formula E world champion, Pascal Wehrlein. The German made his FIA WEC bow at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>That means there will be four Porsches in the race\u2019s Hypercar field \u2013 with a fifth on the reserve list in the shape of a second Proton Competition 963 \u2013 and also four Cadillacs, with entries under the Wayne Taylor Racing and Whelen banners alongside the two full-season Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA contenders. 2025 marks 75 years since the first Cadillac competed at Le Mans, and two decades since British outfit JOTA\u2019s maiden appearance at La Sarthe.<\/p>\n<p>The LMGT3 ranks will be swelled by six additions to the 18 permanent FIA WEC entries, including a third Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 \u2013 on the occasion of the three-pointed star\u2019s highly-anticipated return to the race for the first time since 1999 \u2013 and a third Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 R LMGT3.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Lilou Wadoux \u2013 Ferrari\u2019s first-ever female factory driver and the\u00a0first woman to win an FIA WEC race, in the LMGTE Am category at Spa two years ago \u2013 will pilot a Ferrari 296 LMGT3, as will Eddie Cheever III, son of former Formula 1 driver and Indianapolis 500 winner, Eddie Cheever.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8163\" src=\"https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-300x194.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-300x194.png 300w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-1024x662.png 1024w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-768x496.png 768w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-226x146.png 226w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-50x32.png 50w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-116x75.png 116w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM-774x500.png 774w, https:\/\/sundaymanagement.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-9.42.48\u202fAM.png 1452w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 300px, 300px\" \/>Ahead of their seventh consecutive outing in the event, meanwhile, the ground-breaking Iron Dames \u2013 the only all-female line-up on the grid \u2013 have joined forces with TotalEnergies to fuel their ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>Boasting decades of expertise, the French brand has been at the forefront of innovation, pushing the limits of high-performance fuels and sustainable energy solutions to power some of the most memorable moments in endurance racing history, while fervently promoting excellence and equal opportunities on the international stage.<\/p>\n<p>Embracing the belief that, with the right mindset and right approach, anything is possible, the new partnership will race under the tagline \u2018Powering Your Dreams\u2019, with a special livery to celebrate the collaboration set to be revealed in due course.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 24 Hours of Le Mans is more than just a race \u2013 it\u2019s about never giving up, pushing beyond limits and making the impossible possible,\u201d commented Iron Dames founder, Deborah Mayer. \u201cPartnering with TotalEnergies, a world-leader and true pioneer in endurance racing, is an incredible honor for our project.
