Detroit, Mich. (30 May 2025) \u2013 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian (“Acura MSR”) saved its best for last in qualifying for the Detroit Grand Prix,\u00a0scoring a front-row sweep.
\nNick Yelloly captured his first career pole in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition, turning a final lap of 1:05.762-seconds in the No. 93 Acura ARX-06.<\/p>\n

Yelloly went to the pole with less than four minutes remaining, and then bettered his speed on his next two circuits despite lightly brushing the wall several times. Tom Blomqvist also used a last-lap flier to clock in second \u2013 gaining a position \u2013 running 1:05.908-seconds on the tight layout through the streets of the Motor City.<\/p>\n

Meyer Shank Racing has had two front-row qualifying sweeps in his IMSA career – 2019 with its Acura NSX GT3s at Watkins Glen and 2008 at the Rolex 24 Hour with its pair of DPs.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s IMSA feature\u00a0has a green flag scheduled for\u00a03:40 PM ET. Fans can watch flag-to-flag coverage on Peacock beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET, as well as\u00a0IMSA TV Live<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0IMSA YouTube<\/a>\u00a0outside the U.S. The live Qualifying Stream will air on Peacock Friday at 4:50 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
