Michele Henn Joins Sunday Group Management

Indianapolis, IN (18 April 2024)- Sunday Group Management is pleased to announce a key new hire for the growing communications firm. Michele Henn has joined to take on the newly created role heading up logistics for the Indianapolis-based agency.

Henn (right in photo) has a wide range of experience both in and out of the sport which includes serving as the Series Manager for Formula BMW USA/Americas Series, working as Team Coordinator for CORE autosport’s factory Porsche program that competed on the global stage, as well as working with Historic Motorsports Productions, the short-lived USF1 effort, and with the Skip Barber Racing School.

Henn most recently put her logistical skills to work in her role overseeing the day-to-day operations for an arborist, responsible for everything from scheduling to billing to managing the bid process.

Based in Indianapolis with team members working from around the country, Sunday Group Management is in its third decade of service to the motorsports industry, providing communications strategy, media relations, partner management, and video production for clients that include Meyer Shank Racing, Lime Rock Park, Ferrari North America, and the Heart of Racing.

The role will see Henn manage the logistics required to have the right resources in the right place at the right time, as Sunday Group supports a portfolio of clients that compete in twelve different championships around the world. With on-site management often a key component of the client programs, Henn will focus on developing the travel workflows, streamlining the travel management process to make the team as efficient as possible.

“As our team has continued to grow, it was clear that we needed to have someone focused on the operational details,” said Sunday Group Founder Matt Cleary. “It has been outstanding to have Michele jump on board, which is helping our team collectively focus on what they do best. I’m even more excited that the idea and opportunity to connect with Michelle came from one of our Sunday Group team members and grateful that the timing worked out that she was available to take this on.”

Well known among her friends as much for her daredevil pursuit of the trapeze arts as for her attention to detail, Henn’s professional background as well as her well-established network in the sport will be put to great use at Sunday Group.

“I’ve known Matt (Cleary)  since we both worked at Skip Barber years ago, and it has been cool to see Sunday Group steadily grow through the years, and it is fun to now be on the team,” said Henn. “There is a great team of talent here, with a lot going on, so this is a fun opportunity for me and I am excited to help continue that growth.”
