LIQUI MOLY Autocross Invitational Shootout 2025 Returns to FCP Euro Proving Grounds at Lime Rock Park

Free Admission and Live Stream Available in Shootout’s Third Year

LAKEVILLE, CT (2 October 2025) – The ultimate test of speed and precision returns as the LIQUI MOLY Autocross Invitational Shootout 2025 takes over Lime Rock Park on Saturday, October 11. With nearly $20,000 in prizes and bragging rights at stake, the top 30 drivers from this year’s LIQUI MOLY Autocross Series will also battle for the title of “Fastest of the Year” on the FCP Euro Proving Grounds.

Following an 85% increase in autocross participants last year, Lime Rock Park expanded its FCP Proving Grounds Autocross calendar by 20% in 2025, giving drivers nearly 1600 attempts to qualify for the shootout on the recently repaved and extended 0.68-mile Super Circuit. Since its inception in 2023, more than 3,000 drivers have participated in the LIQUI MOLY Autocross Series shootout over the years.

The 2025 field is already proving faster and more competitive than ever. The current 30th-place cutoff is a 44.599-second lap, a full 1.3 seconds quicker than last year’s final Shootout qualifier.

Building on its growing popularity, the 2025 LIQUI MOLY Autocross Invitational Shootout introduces a free live stream, allowing fans everywhere to watch the showdown (subscribe to Lime Rock Park YouTube Channel for Live Stream), while spectators can attend in person for free. In addition to the action on track, the Plateau will transform into a vendor midway, along with exclusive raffles (register here) and food options, bringing extra energy to the event.

“Every year this competition raises the bar, and 2025 is already shaping up to be the most competitive Shootout we’ve ever hosted,” said Lime Rock Park Track Programs Manager Stephen Huntly. “The talent is incredible, the times are faster and the live stream will showcase just how special grassroots autocross can be. We can’t wait to welcome fans back for another unforgettable day.”

This year’s Shootout will also introduce a special contingency award in honor of longtime instructor Paul Balich. A high-performance driving instructor with Skip Barber Racing School, Lime Rock Park and the Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA), Balich combined his love for cars with an unwavering commitment to safety. He was passionate about teaching others how to drive not just fast but smart, emphasizing awareness, control and quick thinking in unexpected situations. The Paul Balich Spirit of the Sport Award will recognize a competitor who is the most welcoming and helpful to other competitors.
