LAKEVILLE, CT (6 December 2022)- Building on the momentum of a record-breaking 2022 season, Lime Rock Park announced today that Jamie Kistner has joined the track as Director of Sales and Marketing for the iconic Connecticut circuit.
Kistner will assume a leadership role within the Lime Rock Park marketing, sales and event team. Kistner is new to Lime Rock Park, but not to the sport as he brings a wide range of experience that includes marketing and sponsorship work for various automotive brands such as STP and Armor All among other consumer products.
Managing different motorsport sponsorship portfolios for NASCAR, Richard Petty Motorsports, World of Outlaws and Tony Stewart Racing for more than a decade, Kistner is relishing the opportunity to put his experience to work at Lime Rock Park. Most recently, Kistner was the Head of Global Marketing for Vista Outdoor, where he led the marketing efforts for its tactical business unit.
“I first visited Lime Rock Park more than 15 years ago, and I fell in love with the track,” said Kistner. “Under the vision and leadership of the new ownership group and Skip Barber, the Park is well positioned for growth and I am excited to be joining this team.”
Kistner and the Lime Rock Park team will continue to focus on community relations in 2023. Last season, the Park integrated several new community events which raised thousands of dollars for area nonprofits.
Kistner will also manage the operations and relationships with Lime Rock Park’s associated agency teams, All Field Sports, RACER Studio and Sunday Group Management.
“Lime Rock is very fortunate to find a seasoned talent like Jamie Kistner, who brings a wealth of industry and related experience to our high-performing team,” said Lime Rock President Dicky Riegel. “We are confident that Jamie will build upon the Park’s current momentum to drive results.”
The 2023 season will see the track host the Trans Am Series, IMSA, GRIDLIFE and Historic Festival 41 along with several other championships and car clubs as the Park looks forward to the largest event lineup in its 66-year history. Exclusive holiday pricing for season passes and individual races is now available through the end of the year. For more information visit: Lime Rock Park
