14 January, 2025—Tickets have today gone on sale for this year’s Lone Star Le Mans – round six of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign at Texas’ Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on 5-7 September.

The popular Austin-based venue previously hosted FIA WEC from 2013 to 2017 and again in 2020, before returning to the calendar in 2024, when fans were treated to a thrilling six-hour encounter that culminated in the second-closest finish between rival manufacturers in the championship’s history (a 1.760-second gap between Ferrari and Toyota after 6 hours of racing).

In the series’ only outing in North America and in front of an enthusiastic trackside crowd of more than 65,000 spectators, the #83 Ferrari and #7 Toyota took the checkered flag separated by less than two seconds, with the result representing former grand prix-winner Robert Kubica’s first top-flight world championship victory in 16 years.

In LMGT3, there was a maiden triumph for US-registered Heart of Racing Team, while Cadillac Racing similarly starred on home soil, qualifying third in the headlining Hypercar category and winding up just one spot shy of the podium in the race in fourth – the American outfit’s best result of the season.

Next year, there will be not just one but two Cadillac V-Series.R Hypercars gunning for glory in the high-calibre field, featuring former Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and four-time IndyCar Champion Sébastien Bourdais – both well-known to US audiences – on the driving strength.

Factor in the exciting addition of two Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercars, as well as a pair of Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 entries in partnership with Iron Lynx, and another captivating contest looks assured.

With 36 cars across the two classes from big-name brands Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota, the world’s premier endurance racing championship is ready to bring the spirit of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans to Texas once again.

“We always receive a warm welcome at COTA from the passionate and knowledgeable American fans,” commented FIA WEC CEO, Frédéric Lequien. “It’s a spectacular circuit that generates fantastic racing, and with another ultra-competitive grid in both Hypercar and LMGT3 in 2025, all the ingredients are in place for the biggest and best Lone Star Le Mans to-date.”

Tickets – all of which include access to permanent grandstands – can be purchased here, priced at $79 for general admission or $100 for an upgraded experience including access to the paddock, pit walk and driver autograph session. Children aged 12 and under will be admitted free of charge with an accompanying adult.
